Missions Director - Dr. David Myers

Dr. David Myers has served as the AIBCI Missions Director since November of 2018 and as the pastor of First Baptist Church of Pecatonica, IL since 2001.  He received his undergraduate and seminary training at Maranatha Baptist University and his Doctor of Ministry from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. 

Dr. Myers served as an assistant and interim pastor at Lehigh Valley Baptist Church of Emmaus, PA from 1983 to 1990.  He planted Bayview Baptist Church in Mastic Beach, NY before coming to Pecatonica.  

Dr. Myers' wife Marcia has helped him greatly in the ministry.  The Lord has given them four children and nine grandchildren.  His son Chad serves with him at Pecatonica as the associate pastor.

Dr. Myers has faithfully served our fellowship for many years, serving as treasurer and bookkeeper before becoming the missions director.  The Lord has given Him a passion for assisting the church planters and member churches of the AIBCI.
